Cylindrical Glulam uses pre-dried laminations to eliminate internal stress, ensuring the surface remains smooth and intact throughout its service life.
High Strength-to-Weight Ratio: By utilizing high-strength species like Douglas Fir Tct36 or Spruce Tct32, these columns provide significantly higher axial compression capacity than solid timber of the same diameter, supporting larger-span roof structures.
Biophilic and Tactile Appeal: The rounded form eliminates sharp edges, making it safer and more approachable in schools, healthcare facilities, and public spaces. The natural wood grain wraps around the column, creating an “indoor forest” atmosphere.
